We produce these beans with great love, and they are a Slow Food Presidium.

The White Bean of Pigna is grown on dry terraces in the municipalities of Pigna and Castelvittorio. It requires calcareous water and well-drained soil. It is sown in June and harvested in September, when the legume is dry. Once harvested, the bean is shelled and the drying process is completed naturally, outdoors under the sun.

The White Bean of Pigna has a pinkish appearance and its flesh is firm and soft with a delicate and thin skin, a real delight for the most refined palates.
